25 Years of Wyer’s Woods Spook Tour

It started in 1986 as a party for my brother, myself and our friends. 25 years later it’s become an annual tradition.

People have traveled from all over the state to go through the haunted trail that wraps and winds through our woods. Over the years there have been hundreds of volunteers who helped set up, put on and tear down the extravaganza.

Since I moved away from home 10 years, I’ve only missed one year of the Haunted Woods. It’s part of who our family is. All the proceeds from the event go to help local charities such as day cares. Thousands of dollars have been given back to the Ripon community over the past quarter century. Our family wouldn’t have it any other way

This years event is a milestone that we never thought would happen. We hope you can make it out to experience the event.

This years tour is open Friday, October, 22 and Saturday, October 23, as well as Friday, October 29 and Saturday October 30. The tour begins at dusk, generally around 7:00pm. Parking is free and a $3 donation gets you in. All proceeds benefit charities and schools the Ripon area. In case of rain, the tours must be canceled. Please feel free to call if there’s any doubt. 920-748-BONE.
