My name is Rachel. I’m a northern girl who should have been raised in the south. I grew up loving my family, my friends, country music, and photography.

My love for country music began when I was 4 years old and met Randy Owen from Alabama, for the first time. From that moment on, music was a constant part of my life. At 8 I informed my parents that I was moving to Tennessee to pursue a career in the music business. 10 years later, we packed up my family’s 1987 suburban and made I made the move to middle Tennessee.

A shy, quiet girl, living 700 miles away from everything I had ever known, can take it’s toll on your heart. Despite missing my family, I managed to make some amazing friends here, who would really come to make me the person I am today.

The next four years were spend studying Music Business and Mass Communications at Middle Tennessee State University. An internship at Fan Clubhouse, ultimately led to the job I always wanted. Since 2005, I have been the account manager for Fan Clubhouse and have the pleasure of working with some great country artists. I’ve gotten to experience so many great things and meet so many great people – I am truly blessed.

In 2008, I started dating Mike, someone who I never would have imagined I would be dating. Within 6 months, he told me he would marry me one day, though I wasn’t sure. After two and a half years of dating, he proposed to me. On October 8, 2011, we finally said I do. We had a picture perfect wedding. And I have the most amazing husband ever.

In 2010, I lost my father to a heart attack. There are no words for what my family has gone through since he passed away. My parents were together since they were 11 and 12. They have the kind of love that I’ve always wanted. And it’s the kind of love I have.

I’m the type of girl who doesn’t need much of anything. Give me my camera, the road, and the radio and I’m good to go. You’re never going to be able to please everyone else, so just make sure you please yourself! Afterall, you’re the one who has to live with you 100% of the time!

I want to go for a hot air balloon ride.

My best friend has been my best friend since we were little kids.

I work too much.

I don’t sleep enough.

I have one cat and a dog.

I love Mexican food, especially at La Siesta.

I love mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I hate tornados but love thunderstorms.

I never get sick of eating pizza.

I love my friends more than I tell them.

I live my life like a country song.

I hold memories close to my heart.

I lost one of my best friends on 9/16/2007.

I always pay my bills on time.

Kids make me smile, but I’m not ready for my own.

I hate moths.

I can’t keep plants alive.

I’m proud of Chris for serving our country in Iraq and am so glad he’s home safe.

I love bowling but I suck at it.

I work in the music business.

I don’t drink often.

I love fall.

I’m just a girl living the best I can in this crazy world.
